Kerala's only sit-in mud bath — Dead Sea minerals blended with local river clay — reduced to a generic listing on booking portals that taxed every reservation and flattened a one-of-a-kind experience into a room-and-rate row. The OTAs owned the guest, the margin and the story.

What we did

  • Built an immersive direct-booking site that actually sells the experience — the mud bath, Pizhichil, Shirodhara, wild swimming, bamboo rafting — each with its own page and story.
  • Engineered a custom reservation flow with instant confirmations and multi-night packages, so booking direct is easier than booking through a portal.
  • Gave the retreat its own backend dashboard to manage reservations, dates and guest logistics — down to coordinating airport pickups from Calicut.

The retreat now has a direct channel it fully owns: its story told properly, its bookings confirmed instantly, its guest relationships kept in-house. The portals became one more billboard — not the landlord.
